Top St Croix Restaurants

There are many good St Croix restaurants, but these are the ones that keep us coming back again and again. My family and I have been travelling to the island for over 25 years, and these are the St Croix restaurants we love!

The Buccaneer Resort Restaurants:

  • The Mermaid

    Lunch daily 11:30am-5:30pm

Located beach-side, the Mermaid offers great casual lunch and dinner options. My family loves going to the beach at the Buccaneer specifically because we get to eat at The Mermaid for lunch. They serve all-American favorites, island specialties, and vegetarian dishes. There is also a full bar, including frozen island cocktails!

  • The Terrace

Daily breakfast buffet 7:30am-10:30am, Dinner nightly 6pm-9:30pm

The Terrace is the fancier restaurant at the Buccaneer. This is one of our favorite St Croix restaurants when we want a fine-dining dinner experience. The view is incredible, especially if you go right around sunset! You can see far out over the Christiansted harbor. The Terrace also offers a daily breakfast buffet from 7:30-10:30am.

Carambola Resort Restaurants:

Carambola Resort has three restaurants, all of which are named after different tropical trees found on the island.

  • The Saman

An upscale restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner out on the terrace or inside looking out over the water.
  • The Flamboyant

A casual bar overlooking the pool and beach that serves lunch and dinner. We love taking day-trips to Carambola Resort because you can play on the beach all morning, come grab a delicious lunch, and then head right back out for more fun in the sun! The Flamboyant bar also serves tropical drinks and frozen cocktails.

  • The Mahogany

The Mahogany features fine-dining several nights a week but is closed during the low season.

On Friday nights Carambola Resort features a Pirates Buffet & Mocko Jumbies Show! They serve seafood, salads, prime rib, crab legs, lamb chops, fresh pasta dishes and a wide variety of desserts. There is also live music afterwards.

Carambola also has a delicious Sunday brunch that's heavenly!
